Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create, enhance, and sustain robust backend applications utilizing Python

• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance microservices frameworks

• Design, develop, and deploy applications on cloud platforms using AWS services

• Deploy and oversee containerized applications via Kubernetes

• Guarantee backend systems uphold performance, reliability, and security standards

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to outline system architecture and technical strategies

• Diagnose complex issues and optimize system efficiency to minimize downtime

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development, particularly in backend technologies

• Expertise in Python (experience with Django is advantageous)

• Proficient in the Ukrainian language

• Comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) for managing container orchestration

• Proven experience in developing and deploying cloud solutions using AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS

• Strong foundation in microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases

• Excellent debugging skills and a solid grasp of performance optimization methods

• Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and engineers

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferred)

• Experience using Docker (preferred)

• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices (preferred)
