Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the server-side logic for the game application.

• Enhance the company’s software applications by utilizing the latest software development technologies and methodologies (Ruby 3).

• Create analytics for software solutions (observability) and ensure the maintenance of automated testing.

• Perform unit testing, conduct code reviews, refactor source code, and evaluate software performance for improvements.

• Write and document code that adheres to project standards, ensuring the delivery of functionality that aligns with overall guidelines.

• Integrate new technologies and information to enhance documentation practices, scalability, testing methods, and refactoring efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced in software development.

• Proficient with Ruby.

• Familiarity with C/C++, Rust, or Go Lang is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of Linux-based operating systems.

• Basic knowledge of command line operations and Git Version Control System.

• Basic familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Eagerness to learn and work with new technologies (e.g., gRPC, GraphQL, Go Lang).

• Strong written communication skills and documentation abilities in English.

• Open and persuasive communication style.
