Senior Backend Developer – AI-Driven Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create advanced backend solutions from the initial technical concept to production deployment.

• Assume responsibility for software architecture, APIs, data models, and integrations.

• Participate in technology decisions and establish development standards.

• Effectively utilize AI coding tools and coding agents for implementation, refactoring, testing, and error analysis.

• Thoroughly assess and ensure the quality, security, and maintainability of AI-generated code.

• Develop contemporary AI-driven applications and services.

• Integrate LLM APIs and external systems seamlessly.

• Collaborate closely with product owners, business teams, and fellow developers.

• Share expertise and contribute to the responsible application of AI in software development.

• Support both internal and external customer projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in backend development.

• Extensive expertise in software architecture, APIs, databases, Clean Code, and automated testing.

• Strong proficiency in at least one established backend technology, such as Python, Java, C#, TypeScript, or Node.js.

• Skilled in Git and CI/CD workflows.

• Proven hands-on experience with Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar coding agents.

• Experience in prompt and context engineering.

• Responsible for quality assurance of AI-generated outputs.

• Strong technical ownership, a collaborative attitude, and a passion for knowledge sharing.

• Proficient in German language skills.

• Good command of English language skills.
