Senior Backend Architect – LATAM

📋 Description

• Ownership of backend responsibilities at a lead level

• Focus on AI-driven delivery methods

• Independently make architectural decisions

• Design systems with an emphasis on long-term scalability

• Develop production-ready backend solutions

• Design and manage backend services using NestJS and TypeScript

• Construct and sustain GraphQL APIs within a microservices architecture

• Manage database design, optimization, and reliability using Postgres

• Define the technical roadmap beyond just implementation specifics

• Establish and uphold quality standards for both AI-generated and manually crafted code

• Convert vague product requirements into precise technical solutions

• Participate in system design, infrastructure decisions, testing strategies, and enhancing developer productivity

• Function within an AI-first workflow while maintaining high engineering standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Development

• Proficient in Node.js

• At least 3 years of experience with TypeScript

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with databases

• At least 3 years of experience in NestJS

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with GraphQL

• At least 3 years of experience in Postgres

• Strong familiarity with AI tools in software engineering processes

• Capability to leverage AI for faster implementation, debugging, documentation, and problem resolution

• Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
