Senior Backend Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Take on lead-level responsibilities for backend systems

• Independently make architectural decisions

• Design systems with a focus on long-term scalability

• Develop backend solutions utilizing NestJS and TypeScript

• Create and manage GraphQL APIs within a microservices architecture

• Oversee database design, optimization, and reliability in Postgres

• Establish and uphold quality standards throughout the codebase

• Convert ambiguous product requirements into precise technical solutions

• Participate in system design, infrastructure decisions, and testing strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development

• At least 2 years of experience with Nest.js

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with databases

• At least 2 years of experience with Postgres, GraphQL, and TypeOrm

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Node.js

• At least 3 years of experience using Typescript

• Strong background as a tech lead or in a comparable position

• Proficient with AI tools in software engineering workflows
