Senior Back End Developer, Node.JS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Engage in brainstorming sessions focused on software development and system architecture.

• Design, implement, and test Node.js-based microservices according to specified requirements.

• Contribute to code reviews for fellow developers.

• Offer assistance to both colleagues and end-users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in back-end development.

• Proficient in server-side JavaScript programming (Node.js).

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, or others).

• Experience with in-memory key-value stores (like Redis, MemCache, or similar).

• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.

• In-depth knowledge of the HTTP protocol.

• Proficient in using code versioning tools (Git).

• Experience in writing unit tests.

• Working knowledge of TypeScript.

• Background in Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Pair Programming methodologies.

• Knowledge of front-end technologies is advantageous.

• Educational background in computer science.
