Senior Back End Developer, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the creation of sophisticated technical solutions for the Omie system.

• Gain expertise in the software backend architecture, analyzing its components, structure, and functionalities.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in both manual and automated test development, as well as in implementing software requirements.

• Communicate and share knowledge with the development team to identify and validate business and architectural solutions.

• Engage in tactical and operational discussions, helping to define annual technical objectives for the area, while conducting feasibility studies and proofs of concept.

• Provide mentorship, training, and collaboration with the development team to explore business, architectural, and design solutions through effective communication and knowledge sharing.

• Guarantee the achievement of the development team's short- and mid-term goals, including the ability to adapt practices, standard procedures, and task prioritization as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred degree in Information Systems, other IT-related fields, or Engineering.

• Desired: Understanding of ERP system functionality.

• Proficiency in programming/development languages (CoreBuilder, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, C#).

• Familiarity with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Knowledge of cloud platform services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).

• Proven experience in writing and executing unit tests.

• Understanding of fundamental principles behind scalable applications.

• Development in accordance with OWASP guidelines (https://owasp.org/).

• Experience interacting with customer support or client service teams.

• Ability to work effectively in teams.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
