Senior Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with diverse teams to deliver solutions iteratively, partnering closely with designers, front-end engineers, and product managers to ensure implementations are efficient and meet both business and user requirements.

• Develop and implement secure APIs and integrations, focusing on platform performance, stability, and the consistency of data and processes.

• Conduct monitoring and automated testing to maintain high speed, reliability, and availability of services under all circumstances.

• Engage in outlining the technical roadmap, identifying potential bottlenecks, and suggesting solutions that enhance the delivery of value to end users.

• Play a role in fostering and enhancing a culture of technical excellence, with a strong emphasis on quality and agile methodologies.

• Reflect on and evaluate ideas, continually contributing to the product's evolution and the enhancement of customer experience.

• Take responsibility for the ongoing development of solutions, ensuring deliveries meet the expected quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed Bachelor's degree is required.

• Demonstrated experience in Python, particularly with frameworks such as Django, Django-Restless, Django REST Framework (DRF), and FastAPI for constructing scalable and maintainable APIs and web systems.

• Familiarity with asynchronous processing, microservices architecture, and scalable APIs.

• Knowledge of AWS, including hands-on experience with services like S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, CloudFront, as well as Lambda Functions and the Serverless Framework.

• Proficiency in Git and a well-managed commit history, ensuring traceability and quality of delivery.

• A solid understanding of development processes and agile workflows, with insight into the application lifecycle and integration with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams.

• Advanced knowledge of project architecture, design patterns, and best practices in backend development, focusing on code readability and testability.

• Experience with relational databases, including Django ORM, migrations, and query optimization for enhanced performance.

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing using tools such as Pytest, unittest, Playwright, and mocking external services.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, automated deployments, and monitoring within cloud environments.
