Senior Azure Data Consultant – Microsoft Fabric, Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Construct and manage Microsoft Fabric data pipelines that support REST APIs, SQL Server sources, and file-based ingestion methods.

• Create and orchestrate Spark notebooks within the Microsoft Fabric environment.

• Apply Bronze, Silver, and Gold lakehouse patterns within OneLake settings.

• Design, test, and enhance ETL/ELT processes for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Create and develop reusable semantic models that facilitate consistent enterprise reporting across various business domains.

• Transition existing Tableau reports and dashboards to Microsoft Power BI while ensuring the accuracy of business logic and reports.

• Develop and refine DAX measures, calculations, and business logic to support both executive and operational reporting needs.

• Enhance Power BI report performance, usability, and maintainability by applying Microsoft Fabric best practices.

• Engage in Azure DevOps CI/CD processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to confirm reporting requirements and guarantee successful report modernization.

• Work closely with client engineers through paired development and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
