Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data models utilizing Power BI and additional visualization tools.

• Create, develop, and manage data ETL pipelines from various sources including SQL databases, SharePoint, and Excel.

• Partner with end users and technical teams to comprehend and effectively integrate data outputs into visualizations.

• Convert intricate data findings into straightforward, digestible insights for stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout reports and dashboards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience handling large datasets in a Data Visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization, common table expressions (CTEs), and complex joins for in-depth analysis.

• High proficiency in Excel for standard data analysis tasks (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).

• Exceptional communication abilities to gather requirements, present solutions, and translate complex data findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory, preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Must be a U.S. citizen, capable of passing a background check by the client agency.

• DHS clearance with CBP or ICE is preferred.

• Experience in Python (Pandas) for data analysis is preferred.

• Experience in developing PowerApps and Power Automate solutions is preferred.
