This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead the creation and development of sophisticated defensive cybersecurity training materials, which include practical Azure labs, simulations, and realistic datasets.
• Take ownership of the Azure cybersecurity content roadmap, ensuring it is technically accurate, relevant, and progressive across various skill levels.
• Work collaboratively with the Content Engineering and Cloud teams to pinpoint gaps, establish standards, and enhance overall content quality.
• Design, construct, and maintain authentic Azure lab environments, incorporating identity management, logging, monitoring, and attack/defense scenarios.
• Mentor and assist other Content Engineers by providing technical guidance, conducting reviews, and sharing best practices.
• Examine real-world industry trends, incidents, and attacker techniques, recreating them as teachable, hands-on learning experiences.
• Strategically plan, review, and coordinate content initiatives in partnership with the Cloud Content Engineering team and stakeholders.
• Over 5 years of pertinent cybersecurity industry experience in positions such as Senior SOC Analyst (L3/L4), Security Engineer, Incident Responder, Threat Hunter, or Digital Forensics Investigator, with a focus on Microsoft Azure security.
• Experience in defensive security roles within Azure-based or hybrid cloud organizations.
• Designed or managed real-world Azure security controls, detections, and incident response workflows.
• Proven ability to translate complex security concepts into structured learning experiences.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, encompassing security architecture, identity management, networking, monitoring, and incident response tools.
• Expert-level understanding in core blue team domains: incident detection and response, threat intelligence, log analysis, security monitoring, and digital forensics.
• Strong conceptual and practical knowledge of networking, computing, and operating systems in relation to security.
• Familiarity with blue team tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID) and methodologies (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, threat modeling, log and malware analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to research emerging threats, attacker techniques, and cloud security trends, transforming them into engaging, impactful training content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capacity to clearly communicate complex technical topics to learners.
