Senior Automotive Software Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of NVIDIA’s DRIVE initiatives in collaboration with our automotive partners in Korea.

• Coordinate timelines and deliverables for software releases, including NVIDIA’s DRIVE OS, NDAS, and Alpamayo software stacks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across South Korea, India, China, and the U.S. to address program challenges and facilitate product launches.

• Serve as the primary point of contact and initial escalation level for our automotive partners and internal senior management, providing updates and highlighting critical issues.

• Align on vehicle and system-level requirements for the program, facilitating their review, exchange, and negotiation.

• Work closely with internal software teams to comprehend the design and execution of solutions.

• Monitor and prioritize known issues and bugs, assign fixes to upcoming software releases, and oversee verification and root cause analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university or equivalent experience in an engineering or computer science discipline (BS; MS or PhD).

• 6+ years of professional experience in automotive software development.

• Basic understanding of program management principles (task planning, agile methodologies, risk management, etc.).

• General knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, LLMs, Transformers, CPU/GPU architectures, etc.

• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle systems, sensor technologies, vehicle bus communication standards, SoCs, and embedded software principles.

• Basic knowledge of C/C++/Python, QNX and/or Linux operating systems.

• Understanding of build pipelines, repositories, CI/CD, containerization, etc.

• Demonstrated experience in leading complex automotive programs to series production.

• Willingness to regularly participate in client meetings at NVIDIA's partner locations.

• Strong communication and organizational skills, along with effective time management and task prioritization abilities.
