Senior Automation Tester, Software Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In this position, you will collaborate closely with your team on exploratory testing, test automation, and the upkeep of test cases.

• Work in tandem with our development and QA teams to guarantee exceptional software quality.

• Actively share your expertise to foster the ongoing enhancement of our software quality.

• Assist in optimizing our testing methodologies and ensuring effective workflows.

• Identify vulnerabilities through exploratory testing and aid in preserving the stability and reliability of our applications.

• Plan, execute, and document regression and acceptance tests to ensure the seamless functioning of new features.

• Sustain and continually enhance existing test cases to improve accuracy and effectiveness.

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that ensure stable, high-quality software.

• Design and implement automated tests—including UI tests, API tests, and performance/load tests—to broaden test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in manual and exploratory testing.

• Demonstrated experience as a Software Tester, Automation Tester, or in a comparable role.

• Strong knowledge of test automation tools such as Playwright, Postman, k6, or similar.

• Proficiency in Jira and SQL Server for managing test data.

• Profound understanding of software architecture and its complexities.

• A passion for tackling complex challenges and a proactive, hands-on approach.

• Excellent analytical skills coupled with a strong awareness of customer requirements.

• Fluent English skills for effective communication within an international team; German language skills are a plus.

• Bonus: Familiarity with one or more programming languages.
