Senior Automation QA, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automated tests for API, UI, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.

• Implement API automation leveraging HttpClient, Refit, RestSharp, or comparable tools.

• Construct and uphold UI automation utilizing Playwright for .NET and/or Selenium WebDriver.

• Enhance and maintain the test automation framework and architecture (Page Object, Screenplay, service-oriented approaches).

• Configure and refine test execution, parallelization, reporting, retries, and stability.

• Investigate issues with failed tests, flaky scenarios, infrastructure challenges, and product defects.

• Prepare, validate, and manage test data using databases.

• Engage in requirements analysis and determine automation test coverage.

• Create and update test documentation, which includes test cases, scenarios, plans, checklists, and coverage matrices.

• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, Analytics, and Business teams to ensure product quality.

• Participate in sprint planning, grooming sessions, retrospectives, and discussions related to quality.

• Review automation code and contribute to enhancements in the framework.

• Support and mentor fellow QA engineers by sharing automation best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer.

• Proficient in C# and modern .NET technologies.

• Familiarity with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest frameworks.

• Experience with Playwright for .NET.

• Background in API automation using HttpClient, Refit, RestSharp, or similar libraries.

• Knowledge of FluentAssertions.

• Strong SQL proficiency.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Familiarity with Dapper or similar database access tools.

• Proficient in Git.

• Experience with Jenkins and/or GitLab CI.

• Familiarity with Allure reporting.

• Basic understanding of Kafka.

• Knowledge of Dependency Injection and async/await programming.

• Experience with the Page Object Pattern.

• Strong expertise in API and UI test automation.
