Senior Automation QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Test Strategy & Design: Establish the comprehensive test strategy for essential workflows and oversee all testing protocols and documentation.

• Automation Development: Create, execute, and uphold end-to-end (E2E) automated tests utilizing Playwright and TypeScript.

• Regression Management: Develop and maintain risk-based regression tests, emphasizing an automation-first strategy complemented by targeted manual assessments.

• Manual & Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory and high-risk manual testing to uncover edge cases within the web platform.

• Engineering Collaboration: Collaborate with developers to guarantee adequate unit and integration test coverage while offering insights in code reviews about testability and quality risks.

• Validation & Verification: Validate authentication, navigation, and intricate permission configurations to ensure that changes comply with stringent healthcare standards.

• Framework Evolution: Assist in the gradual deployment of testing frameworks as the product transitions from initial phases to advanced maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional Longevity: Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, primarily concentrating on test automation.

• Automation Stack: Demonstrated experience with Playwright and TypeScript (or closely related automation frameworks).

• Testing Breadth: Hands-on experience with E2E/UI test automation along with a readiness to engage in manual testing on web platforms.

• Methodology: Strong understanding of testing best practices, methodologies, and a "working backwards" approach to risk-based testing.

• Tools: Skilled in test management, bug tracking, and Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• English Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate level or above for effective collaboration with distributed teams.
