This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Provides technical direction for the designated project team members
• Fosters a welcoming and inclusive team atmosphere
• Promotes active involvement in discussions within the project team
• Collaborates with leadership to offer suggestions for ongoing improvements to the DT&A and the overall PF Strategy
• Oversees medium-sized projects or scopes of work for larger initiatives
• Cultivates a strong collaborative relationship with clients
• Assists in defining scope, managing changes, and facilitating client communications
• Develops robust relationships with third-party vendors and system integrators
• Identifies opportunities for expanding work within PF
• Enhances understanding of the various pillars of Digital Transformation and Automation
• Formulates project execution and Configuration Strategy
• Addresses moderately complex operational and personnel-related issues
• Inspires teams to investigate new methodologies, tools, and industry advancements
• Recognizes execution risks and takes proactive corrective measures
• Reviews deliverables to ensure quality and compliance prior to client submission
• Balances schedule, quality, and client priorities in decision-making processes
• Manages team utilization and workload forecasting to achieve billability objectives
• Ensures quality assurance, risk management, and compliance across all aspects of DT&A
• Bachelor's Degree (and/or Master's) in Life Sciences, Engineering, Regulatory or a related field OR a combination of relevant experience in quality assurance, cGMP facility start-up, regulatory assurance, or applicable military and/or professional services.
• 5-15+ years of experience in an Automation and Digital Systems environment within the GMP life sciences sector (biotech, pharma, ATMP).
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more areas of Process Control, MES, and Digital Systems platforms.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client project assignments.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across engineering, quality, IT/OT, and manufacturing domains.
• Structured thinker with advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a high-pressure, regulated environment.
