This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Assist in the planning, development of workplans, and reporting for the global Syphilis-Free Start program both internally and externally.
• Engage in coordination meetings and manage updates for country programs.
• Work collaboratively with the MLE team on monitoring and evaluation tasks, which include data quality assessments, facility observation tools, data gathering, and progress reporting.
• Partner with technical, MLE, operations, and program finance teams to enhance program delivery.
• Aid in donor reporting and preparation of various materials.
• Provide daily support and problem-solving assistance to SFS leadership for country teams in Liberia, Zambia, Côte d'Ivoire, and Cameroon.
• Create and enhance program strategies, tools, and training materials.
• Identify and address implementation obstacles while documenting challenges, adaptations, and successful practices.
• Ensure that program tools, training materials, and job aids are up-to-date with current evidence and align with WHO and national standards.
• Facilitate training and mentorship initiatives for health workers at the facility level.
• Compile insights and successful practices from various countries and promote program-wide adoption.
• Assist with expansion research, scoping reports, databases, and partnerships in targeted regions.
• Support scoping trips, stakeholder meetings, and visits to health facilities.
• Help with informal data collection across various health facilities.
• Oversee external partners and manage timelines for subcontractors.
• Assist in financial, operational, and RFP workflows and processes.
• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience in public health, international development, economics, or a related field.
• Experience living and/or working with global health programs in low- or middle-income country contexts.
• Capability to manage intricate and interrelated workplans and projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt plans, including establishing structured yet flexible processes.
• Experience in supporting government partners and country-based program teams.
• Ability to modify communication styles for teams with varying skill levels and across diverse cultural contexts.
• Skill in developing processes from uncertain situations and assisting the team in functioning within low-resource program environments.
• Proficiency in oral and written French is preferred.
