This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the initial contact for incoming leads, assessing and directing opportunities.

• Collaborate on prospect opportunities and team initiatives.

• Develop and sustain pipeline dashboards along with standardized reporting.

• Create outbound target lists, conduct prospect research, and assemble background packets.

• Work alongside Product and Marketing on outreach materials, tools, and feedback from prospects.

• Collaborate with the Managing Director to advance the Business Development team’s OKRs.

• Develop and maintain playbooks, standard operating procedures, and the internal knowledge base.

• Oversee account-opening processes, DAF application tracking, and funding/transfer status until client handoff.

• Lead or assist with project-based tasks as necessary.

• Manage and enhance the CRM system, focusing on contact enrichment, warm-introduction paths, data hygiene, and maintaining record accuracy.

• Connect business intelligence tools and dashboards with the CRM.

• Utilize AI and automation to optimize prospect research, meeting preparations, and reporting.

• Enhance scalability, knowledge management, and workflow design.

• Partner with Legal, Finance, Investment Solutions, Client Engagement, and Client Service to facilitate the transition from prospect to client.

• Assist with Marketing efforts, including events, content calendars, and firm visibility initiatives.

• Provide regular pipeline and activity reports to the Head of Client Solutions.

• Report directly to the Managing Director, Client Services.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in sales operations, business development support, or CRM management within investment management, wealth advisory, private markets, philanthropy, or impact investing.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Proven experience in building and managing CRM systems, sales infrastructure, and reporting processes that support client acquisition among institutional or private investors.

• Experience in managing a pipeline, tracking interactions with prospects and clients, and supporting multi-stakeholder philanthropic or investment decision-making processes.

• Demonstrated capability to utilize AI and automation tools for prospect research, market intelligence synthesis, meeting preparation, personalized outreach, pipeline management, and workflow efficiency.

• Strong experience with CRM systems, pipeline reporting, and communications with investors.

• Familiarity with private markets and impact investment strategies across various asset classes.

• Knowledge of impact investing and/or values-aligned investment strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, project management, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to design, document, and continuously enhance repeatable processes, SOPs, and playbooks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with Box and Asana is preferred.

• Capacity to manage multiple initiatives, dependencies, deadlines, and competing priorities.

• Experience in a virtual environment is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for leveraging capital for social and environmental impact.

• Work hours to align with Eastern Standard Time, with some flexibility available.
