
Senior Associate, Portuguese Payroll Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Process payroll independently from start to finish to ensure timely delivery in accordance with the established processing calendar(s) and KPIs.
• Assist with statutory and year-end reporting following the agreed calendar(s) and KPIs.
• Utilize payroll expertise to respond to client queries and maintain a comprehensive understanding of country-specific laws and requirements.
• Provide support and knowledge transfer to Apprentices and/or Associates regarding data management and customer service functions.
• Ensure that tickets and calls are addressed within SLA timeframes and meet high-quality standards.
• Assist with system maintenance testing.
• Communicate and transact with third-party entities.
• Complete SOC controls punctually with the required documentation.
• Participate in root cause analysis, ensuring precision and recommending viable preventative measures to reduce recurrence.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and confirm that participants comprehend and can utilize the information provided.
• Maintain DWIs to ensure processes are current and accurately reflect the service.
• Report all system issues or defects appropriately and log tickets with necessary details and evidence for investigation by Application Services and/or Products.
• Notify the Service Manager of any deviations from the standard scope of service.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
• Accurately record time and meet deadlines.
• Comply with STRADA security standards.
• Engage in team meetings and promptly communicate any issues to your Service Manager.
• Stay informed about all STRADA HR announcements and communications.
• Build strong relationships with relevant business lines.
• Provide timely and accurate updates to internal stakeholders as necessary.
• Participate in assigned projects and activities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to adapt in a global, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Self-driven with a desire to learn.
• Capable of collaborating and working effectively in a team setting, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in payroll administration or health & welfare/benefits within an HR consulting, HR outsourcing, or corporate environment.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems: experience with Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft is preferred.
