Senior Associate – Network Engineer, Cisco Meraki

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee networks utilizing Cisco Meraki products (MX, MS, MR, MV).

• Set up and manage firewalls, VPNs (both site-to-site and client VPN), VLANs, and routing protocols.

• Monitor network performance through the Meraki Dashboard and various third-party tools.

• Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN issues, connectivity challenges, and performance hindrances.

• Establish network security protocols, including IDS/IPS, content filtering, and access management.

• Oversee wireless networks, focusing on SSIDs, RF optimization, and guest access management.

• Conduct firmware updates, manage backups, and maintain documentation of network alterations.

• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for the resolution of incidents and enhancements of infrastructure.

• Ensure adherence to security and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 3 to 7 years of experience in network administration or analysis.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki cloud-managed solutions.

• Strong understanding of: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.

• Knowledge of VLANs and routing protocols (basic understanding of OSPF and BGP).

• Experience in firewall configuration and VPN technologies.

• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Awareness of network security best practices.
