Senior Associate, Investment Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the onboarding process for new accounts (Equities, Fixed Income, Options, Structured Notes, etc.) into internal systems such as Orion, Salesforce, and Moxy.

• Address requests for new account processing from advisors and trading teams prior to enrollment into Mariner strategies.

• Handle the processing of closed accounts across various trading platforms, adhering to instructions from advisors and the investment team.

• Establish securities across multiple platforms and troubleshoot setup issues in Orion, including security classifications and characteristics.

• Oversee account restrictions both during the onboarding process and as advised by advisors and investment leaders.

• Perform daily reconciliation of trading platforms (Moxy, Perform, FixFlyer).

• Ensure prompt trade settlement by collaborating with Investment teams, custodians, and brokers, while resolving any associated issues.

• Act as a primary contact and subject matter expert for investment and trading inquiries from wealth management teams.

• Assist in calculating monthly composite returns and preparing quarterly fact sheets.

• Conduct regular quality control assessments on trading platforms.

• Organize and maintain investment-related documents in Box, which includes fact sheets, educational materials, process documentation, and manager ADVs.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in investment operations and/or trading support.

• An undergraduate degree in a business-related field is preferred.

• Preferred experience with options trading and options account setup at custodians.

• Proficiency in portfolio management and trading platforms (Orion, Perform, Moxy, FixFlyer, Charles River).

• Familiarity with Salesforce.

• Experience with new account paperwork and processing at custodians like Fidelity, Schwab, and Pershing.
