This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Create, develop, and sustain the organization's business intelligence and reporting dashboards.
• Create, develop, and sustain data models and feeds for report generation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp reporting and analysis needs, refine business questions, and convert them into technical specifications.
• Leverage Power BI and/or SQL expertise to comprehend business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Generate insights and perform data analysis to address business inquiries, identify key drivers, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, validation, and easy accessibility for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Document report logic, KPI definitions, data sources, assumptions, and refresh schedules.
• Manage and prioritize tasks while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to boost productivity, quality, and efficiency within business intelligence and analytics operations.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of management reports, executive views, and persona-based dashboards as required.
• Adhere to, learn, and share best practices for Power BI development.
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy policies and regulations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on business intelligence and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business intelligence and reporting, focusing on data visualization, dashboards, and reporting.
• Proficient in requirement analysis, solutioning, design, modeling, implementation, testing, and end-user communication.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to evolving reporting requirements, priorities, and project timelines.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, tabular data modeling, visualizations, RLS, composite modeling, Power BI Service, licensing, etc.
• Solid understanding of database systems, analytical processing, data modeling, and ETL/DWH frameworks.
• Experience in SQL development for BI and analytics applications, including queries, views, stored procedures, and reusable data assets.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and data integration technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, AWS, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Experience with AI-assisted analytics, automation, or productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, or internal AI agents, for BI development, SQL, documentation, analysis, or workflow enhancement is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI administration/governance, REST APIs, PowerShell, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, Python, or R is a plus.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation projects as well as maintenance and support projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Banking or Financial Services industry is a bonus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Experience working in diverse environments - geographical, cultural, and business - is preferred.
• Certification in Microsoft Power BI or SQL is an asset.
