Senior Associate, Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and carry out audit, review, and compilation projects from the initial planning stage to final completion.

• Conduct risk assessments and customize audit methodologies based on client operations and industry factors.

• Execute substantive testing of financial transactions, internal controls, and account balances.

• Ensure that financial statements and all supporting documents adhere to relevant accounting and auditing standards.

• Develop and nurture robust professional relationships with clients.

• Clearly and proactively communicate the progress of engagements, findings, and recommendations.

• Manage several engagements concurrently while adhering to deadlines and upholding quality standards.

• Stay updated on the latest developments in GAAP, auditing standards, and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.

• A minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit, review, and compilation engagements.

• Experience in Employee Benefit Plan audits.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.

• Exceptional analytical, communication, organizational, and project management abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with clients in the AEC, Manufacturing, or related sectors.

• Familiarity with audit software, data analytics tools, and/or CCH Engagements.
