Senior Associate Architect, SAP Security – Threat Mitigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist the Rimini Protect! Security Services team in investigating threats, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses impacting the products and services provided by Rimini Street.

• Collaborate with the Rimini Protect team to analyze the relevance of identified vulnerabilities, assess weaknesses and exposures, identify appropriate mitigations, and aid in documenting those mitigations.

• Develop documentation and suggest workarounds and mitigations to support the creation of new solutions and security controls, which will be implemented by Rimini Street clients to proactively manage vulnerabilities from both a 0-day perspective and our regularly scheduled Security Vulnerability Analysis Report (SVAR).

• Work closely with Client Success Managers (CSM) to perform, review, and provide recommendations during the Security Audit process for the customer's ERP solution and Database environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Preference will be given to candidates with Security Certification over those without.

• 2-5 years of progressively responsible experience in information security.

• Familiarity with common industry and regulatory standards such as ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI, and Privacy Shield.

• A highly technical and hands-on approach is essential.

• Significant project-related experience is required.

• Strong understanding of current security threats, trends, and mitigations.

• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level security controls.

• Background in conducting audits and reviews of ERP systems.

• Experience with SAP Basis, including UCON, T-Code comprehension, and creating authorizations.
