Senior Associate, Accounting Advisory – UHNW Family Office

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounting services for clients, which includes month-end closures, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, account reconciliations, and aiding in the preparation of financial statements.

• Collaborate with engagement teams and support managers on management and compilation reports for small to mid-sized private companies.

• Engage in various projects and liaise with client personnel throughout the implementation process.

• Team up with senior consultants to evaluate client ERP implementation requirements.

• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions across various subject matter areas and execute plans to surpass client expectations.

• Assess and prioritize information to provide recommendations and propose solutions.

• Take part in special client projects that offer opportunities for growth and learning experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.

• Ambition to pursue CPA certification.

• At least 4 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry within an accounting function.

• Proficient in data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting, and customization across various ERP systems.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Intacct, NetSuite, and/or other accounting software is essential.

• Experience with Bill.com, Expensify, and/or Concur is advantageous.

• Proven leadership experience.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Capacity to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

• Ability to distill research into clear, thoughtful, and actionable deliverables.

• Knowledge of GAAP is preferred.
