Senior Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Effectively create playable levels aligned with the vision of the Art Director and the requirements of Level Design in collaboration with leads.

• Develop world geometry and composition for levels utilizing Unreal Engine.

• Revamp existing assets into new formats.

• Outline modules and levels, constructing initial/proxy materials.

• Deliver work within specified guidelines while adhering to workflow pipelines and deadlines.

• Model proxy assets.

• Engage in reviews, adapting to and applying feedback from leads and peers professionally.

• Participate in research and development initiatives to explore innovative techniques and enhance pipelines and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in AAA console/PC game development, including at least 3 years in Unreal Engine.

• A robust portfolio demonstrating playable levels with created geometry.

• Proficiency and understanding of industry-standard software for 3D modeling (Maya, Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, or their equivalents).

• Ability to artistically interpret concepts or creatively extend beyond initial ideas.

• A strong foundation in traditional art skills along with design fundamentals (shape, form, texture, value, and color).

• Experience using Unreal Engine (or equivalent software).

• Capability to utilize PBR shaders and normal maps.

• Adaptability.

• Competence to accept and integrate feedback.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new styles, techniques, and workflows.

• Ability to collaborate with department leads and various departments to address artistic and technical challenges.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated.

• Preferred: Traditional art skills alongside essential graphic design competencies (typography, color, and light).

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5.

• Skills in environment modeling.

• Experience in Level Design.
