MBA Buyout M&A Intern – AI Services Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Identify and assess acquisition prospects in Argentina, focusing on founder-driven service companies, professional services firms, and established legacy brands.

• Create market maps, target lists, outreach workflows for owners, and investment memoranda tailored to specific acquisition strategies.

• Conduct financial analysis, valuation processes, and due diligence related to revenue quality, customer concentration, margin profiles, working capital, and operational intricacies.

• Assist in evaluating transformation opportunities, including enhancements to sales processes, pricing strategies, automation, software integration, staffing adjustments, brand revitalization, and geographic growth.

• Provide support during owner discussions, diligence inquiries, transaction management, and post-acquisition operational planning.

• Formulate actionable growth and modernization strategies for acquired businesses while preserving the local trust and reputation that contribute to their value.

⛳️ Requirements

• MBA candidate, recent MBA graduate, or possess equivalent experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate development, search funds, or entrepreneurship.

• Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, market research, and crafting comprehensive investment memos.

• Native or fluent in Spanish with excellent English communication skills.

• Capable of sourcing directly: researching companies, reaching out to owners, managing follow-ups, and transforming chaotic inputs into organized deal notes.

• Exhibit high judgment, discretion, and persistence when engaging with business owners.

• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating a proactive approach and a genuine interest in operating real businesses rather than merely analyzing them.
