Senior Architect, Public Sector

📋 Description

• Engage in strategic initiatives within the designated region or area of expertise while offering technical insights.

• Assess the trade-offs between various solutions from both technical and business viewpoints.

• Act as an advocate and thought leader in your technical specialization.

• Acquire knowledge of related technologies to broaden core competencies.

• Collaborate with solution architects and internal business leaders to exchange ideas, pinpoint customer challenges and trends, and determine suitable F5 solutions.

• Work alongside internal product management and services teams to impart technical and business insights for product launches and updates.

• Mentor the Solution Engineering community.

• Facilitate communication between Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Product Development teams.

• Assist Sales teams in identifying F5 solutions that fulfill customer business requirements.

• Advocate for customer needs within internal F5 teams.

• Disseminate knowledge and educate solution engineering teams both internally and externally through whitepapers, training sessions, blogs, tech tips, and presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in handling strategic business opportunities across Enterprises, Service Providers, and Public Sector clients.

• In-depth understanding of the competitive landscape for modern applications and AI infrastructure.

• Extensive experience with F5 solutions and automation, covering Application Delivery, Application Security, Automated Threats, DevSecOps practices, Denial of Service, Authentication and Authorization, and APIs.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker Containerization, encompassing automation tools, processes, logging and troubleshooting tools, and methodologies.

• Experience with various Container Orchestration concepts and platforms.

• Operational knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Advanced proficiency in multiple Linux distributions, including installation, system maintenance, application management, and optimization.

• Competence in virtualization with experience in launching virtual machines within enterprise and cloud computing environments.

• Familiarity with Nginx and Nginx Plus configuration and management.

• Advanced understanding of Kubernetes Ingress Controllers, including testing, migration, and troubleshooting.

• Extensive experience with API Gateway concepts, operations, and life cycles.

• Knowledge of AI applications, models, systems, and infrastructure.

• Insight into machine learning models and natural language processing.

• Experience presenting at industry/customer events and publishing whitepapers, solution articles, blogs, and tech tips.

• Significant experience delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations to both technical and business audiences.

• Comprehensive knowledge of F5 Solutions.

• Understanding of legacy technologies and their relevance in modern platforms, particularly Linux, networking, or virtualization.

• Over 8 years of relevant industry experience.

• More than 5 years in a presales role.

• Relevant certifications are a plus.

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
