Senior Architect, Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical and strategic contact for assigned clients throughout their subscription period.

• Provide guidance on best practices, data strategies, analytic maturity, and integrations that align with the client’s business processes and objectives using Alteryx solutions.

• Assist clients in creating Centers of Excellence, scalable governance frameworks, and initiatives for analytic modernization.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the right expertise is in place to support and manage technical outcomes and strategic projects.

• Design and oversee complex implementations of Alteryx platforms (Designer, Server, AACP, Intelligence Suite, etc.).

• Lead planning and upgrades of environments, ensuring minimal downtime and reduced risk.

• Monitor and evaluate customer usage patterns; identify areas for optimization and training.

• Provide enablement plans, documentation, and proactive suggestions to minimize friction and enhance self-sufficiency.

• Stay updated on evolving cloud and analytics trends to guide customer strategies effectively.

• Share insights internally and externally, fostering technical excellence across Alteryx and our customer ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical position (Solutions Architect, TAM, Consultant, Presales Engineer, etc.).

• Proven success in managing enterprise client relationships and leading analytics/BI implementations.

• Extensive knowledge of Alteryx Designer and Server; Alteryx Core Certification is strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of data platforms and database technologies (SQL, RDBMS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP); cloud certifications are a plus.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for both technical and business audiences, including executive stakeholders.

• Experience with visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) and scripting languages (SQL, shell, Python) is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
