Senior AQA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable automation frameworks for both API and UI testing.

• Create automated API tests utilizing Python, Pytest, Requests, Postman, or analogous tools.

• Validate backend services, microservices, integrations, data flows, business logic, and event-driven architectures.

• Conduct testing for Kafka-based workflows, encompassing message production, consumption, schema validation, data integrity, and failure scenarios.

• Assess AI and LLM-based functionalities through prompt validation, output consistency checks, regression testing, evaluation datasets, and edge-case analysis.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar platforms.

• Facilitate Docker/Kubernetes-based testing environments, automated reporting, and continuous test execution.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, product, and data teams to enhance quality processes.

• Formulate test strategies, test plans, technical documentation, and bug reports.

• Utilize Jira, Xray, logs, and production-like environments to monitor issues, debug failures, and enhance test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in automation testing, backend testing, or a comparable technical QA position.

• Demonstrated experience in constructing automation frameworks from the ground up.

• Strong background in implementing API automation tests.

• Exceptional skills in Python development.

• Practical experience with Kafka and testing event-driven systems.

• Experience with AI-based applications or a solid understanding of techniques and tools for testing LLM-based products.

• Proficiency with API testing tools and libraries such as Requests, Pytest, Postman, or similar.

• Experience in drafting test documentation, including test strategies, test plans, and design documents.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience utilizing Jira for task and bug management.

• Independent, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
