Consulting Engineer – On Call

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Offer part-time consulting services on an as-needed basis for the Propulsion Systems & Control (PS&C) division.

• Provide expertise on structural and materials challenges.

• Engage in analysis and design evaluations.

• Potentially assist in customer technical discussions.

• Contribute to programs focused on rocket propulsion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of experience along with a bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline.

• In-depth knowledge in structural analysis related to rocket propulsion.

• Strong focus on the response of rocket nozzle materials in extreme thermal conditions.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for all roles requiring government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

• Travel: Yes, approximately 10% of the time.
