Senior AQA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable automation frameworks for API and UI testing.

• Create automated API tests utilizing Python, Pytest, Requests, Postman, or similar tools.

• Validate backend services, microservices, integrations, data flows, business logic, and event-driven systems.

• Test workflows based on Kafka, including message production, consumption, schema validation, data integrity, and failure scenarios.

• Assess AI and LLM-based features through prompt validation, output consistency checks, regression testing, evaluation datasets, and edge-case analysis.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or comparable tools.

• Support test environments based on Docker/Kubernetes, automated reporting, and continuous test execution.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, product, and data teams to enhance quality processes.

• Develop test strategies, test plans, technical documentation, and bug reports.

• Utilize Jira, Xray, logs, and production-like environments to monitor issues, debug failures, and enhance test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in automation testing, backend testing, or a comparable technical QA position.

• Demonstrated experience in building automation frameworks from the ground up.

• Extensive experience in implementing API automation tests.

• Strong proficiency in Python development.

• Practical experience with Kafka and testing event-driven systems.

• Experience in testing AI-based applications or a solid understanding of techniques and tools for evaluating LLM-based products.

• Familiarity with API testing tools and libraries such as Requests, Pytest, Postman, or similar.

• Experience in crafting test documentation, including test strategies, test plans, and design documents.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins.

• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with Jira for task and bug management.
