Senior Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead sophisticated CT data analysis utilizing VGStudio MAX for evaluating porosity/inclusions, measuring wall thickness, conducting dimensional inspections, and visualizations.

• Establish optimal practices and standards for aligning CAD to scans, along with developing automated inspection macros in VGStudio MAX.

• Collaborate with design engineering and metrology teams to address product variation challenges, define tolerances, and assist in root cause analysis.

• Create and implement standardized workflows for CT data processing across multiple sites, inclusive of correlation studies and Gage R&R analyses.

• Provide technical assistance to engineers and various departments to facilitate tooling development and enhance process improvements.

• Draft and maintain CT-specific inspection protocols, operating procedures, and data review methodologies that align with customer standards.

• Mentor CT technicians and analysts to enhance technical skills and ensure uniformity in digital inspection practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience applying CT data to VG applications, including wall measurements and automation.

• Specialized training or experience in VolumeGraphics, including VGInline; prior completion of courses offered by Hexagon is advantageous.

• Must meet visual acuity requirements as per NAS 410.

• Experience in creating and implementing VG automated macros is preferred, along with familiarity in CAD/NX usage.

• Experience in auditing and compliance management is preferred.

• Ability to train customer personnel in small group settings.

• Completion of technical training related to VolumeGraphics is required.

• Willingness to support up to 80% travel, including being stationed at customer facilities for extended durations.

• Detail-oriented with respect to documentation related to training.
