Senior Application Specialist – Okta, IAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation and expansion initiatives for the Okta platform within global corporate settings.

• Create and deploy Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.

• Develop and implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.

• Design and execute Adaptive Authentication solutions.

• Formulate and implement Lifecycle Management solutions.

• Construct and apply Identity Governance solutions.

• Integrate SaaS applications, on-premises systems, legacy platforms, and custom applications with Okta.

• Establish authentication, authorization, and access governance policies.

• Design and automate Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes.

• Create automations utilizing APIs, PowerShell, Python, and Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for IAM-related incidents.

• Assist with audits, information security initiatives, and compliance efforts.

• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, ERP, and Development teams.

• Generate technical documentation, architectural standards, and operational procedures.

• Serve as a technical reference, providing support and mentorship to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Okta Workforce Identity Cloud.

• Proven track record in the implementation and administration of Single Sign-On (SSO).

• Demonstrated experience in the implementation and administration of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

• Skilled in the implementation and administration of Lifecycle Management.

• Experience with the implementation and administration of Universal Directory.

• Proficient in API Access Management.

• Advanced understanding of SAML 2.0.

• Advanced knowledge of OAuth 2.0.

• Advanced expertise in OpenID Connect.

• Advanced knowledge of SCIM.

• Advanced understanding of LDAP.

• Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, and Microsoft 365.

• Strong foundation in Identity and Access Management (IAM).

• Knowledge in Identity Governance Administration (IGA).

• Familiarity with Privileged Access Management (PAM).

• Understanding of Zero Trust principles.

• Capability to develop automations using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.

• Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), AWS IAM, and Google Cloud IAM.

• Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

• Experience in large-scale corporate and multinational environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Security, or related fields.

• MBA or a postgraduate degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Technology Management, Digital Transformation, or Business Administration (preferred).

• Advanced or fluent English proficiency (required).
