Senior Application Engineer – Salesforce, Agentforce Ai

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• We are seeking innovative thinkers with practical experience in Agentforce, AI agent development, and intelligent process automation, who excel in a collaborative and fast-paced setting.

• As a Senior Application Engineer focusing on Salesforce Agentforce AI at PointClickCare, you will design and implement cutting-edge AI agents and automations that enhance system workflows.

• You will have the freedom to experiment, prototype, and deliver solutions that will significantly influence the future of our technology landscape, while gaining exposure to the latest AI technologies and dedicating time for professional development and certifications as you create AI Agents using Agentforce and various AI tools.

• You possess hands-on experience in building Agentforce AI Agents and have over 5 years of experience and expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining configurations and custom applications that integrate with Salesforce or other connected applications.

• Construct intelligent process automations, test automations, and troubleshoot issues ranging from standard to complex related to Apex code, JavaScript, Python, or code from other programming languages pertinent to the applications you are developing.

• Generate technical documentation, participate in our DevOps maintenance team, and review builds created by other team members and vendors.

• Deliver training and consultation regarding the systems and processes developed by the team to our business partners, while supporting both transformational projects, high-priority enhancements, and resolving incidents of standard to high complexity to promptly provide value to the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in building Agentforce AI Agents, AI workflows, custom agent development, and integrating external data sources.

• Strong experience with Salesforce integrations and external system integrations (Conga, Docusign, Adobe, Marketo, Gainsight, Gong, Qualtrics, Kantata, TaskRay).

• Working experience with the Workday platform is highly desirable.

• Experience in creating intelligent process automations using tools like Power Automate or similar.

• Extensive experience in developing test automations for Salesforce and other platforms.

• Proven experience writing efficient and clean code that performs well at scale using JavaScript, Apex, Python, etc.

• Proficient in DevOps processes and tools (e.g., Copado, AutoRabit).

• Experienced in GITHUB and troubleshooting standard versioning and DevOps challenges.

• Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) for iterative delivery of standard solutions.

• Extensive experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. PMD, Selenium, Copado CRT).

• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and governor limits.

• Exceptional organizational, critical-thinking, and self-management abilities.

• A continuous learner who enjoys acquiring and sharing knowledge and insights with others.

• A strong team player and mentor who collaborates with cross-functional teams and other areas of practice like BA, QA & Operations.

• Capable of communicating standard to complex ideas, anticipating potential objections, and persuading others at the team level to adopt alternative viewpoints.

• Demonstrated experience as a proficient Intermediate Application Engineer.
