This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of enhancements to the CRD, encompassing requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Set up layouts, workflows, rules, and result sets for the Manager Work Bench or Central Work Bench.
• Engage in hands-on work with the Charles River API Framework, which includes:
• Frontend APIs – UI workflows, triggers, and interaction points with CRD.
• Backend APIs – managing data calls, order submissions, guideline checks, reference data, and trading flows.
• Create and maintain integration workflows utilizing REST APIs, services, and messaging frameworks.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of portfolio optimization principles, including risk models, constraints, exposures, and transaction cost analysis.
• Have familiarity with industry optimization platforms like Axioma (for portfolio construction and risk model integration) and OMEGA Point (for optimization and risk analytics tools).
• Work collaboratively with Portfolio Engineering teams to enhance optimization workflows that support the CRD.
• Ensure readiness for Start-of-Day operations for CRD and contribute to maintaining system stability.
• Convert our requirements into precise functional and technical specifications, user stories, diagrams, and interface documentation.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience with the Charles River API Framework (both frontend and backend).
• Over 10 years of experience in Application Development.
• Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to create complex queries and perform performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Java or C# with the capability to interpret, collaborate, and support integrations.
• Experience in REST API integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Python programming.
• At least 3 years of experience in CRD implementation/customization and configuration of Workbench (Manager or Central).
• Familiar with CRD Batch Automation, including monitoring and exception handling.
• Understanding of portfolio optimization concepts such as risk factors, constraints, and optimization models.
• Experience with optimization tools like Axioma and OMET/Gap Point.
• Familiarity with Order Management workflows, markets, and trading processes (Equities & Fixed Income).
