Senior Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and oversee data pipelines and integrations.

• Contribute to the development of machine learning classification and applications.

• Engage in discussions regarding technical strategy and business planning.

• Drive innovation in technology, team processes, and development methodologies.

• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters across distributed teams.

• Operate within a Scrum-based Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Mentor and guide junior development and QA team members.

• Continuously explore and implement new technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more leading cloud providers (AWS preferred).

• Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, and S3.

• Proficient in GitHub and GitHub Actions.

• Strong programming capabilities in Java 17 and Python 3.

• Experience with relational databases, specifically AWS MySQL Aurora.

• Familiarity with Databricks.

• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.

• Familiarity with collaboration tools including JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and MS Teams.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Strong skills in collaboration and communication.

• Understanding of Snowflake.

• Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD).
