Senior Application Architect, OFSAA Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide a technical vision and guidance within a specific application domain.

• Develop, sustain, and communicate the application architecture alongside the application-level roadmap.

• Design, document, create, and oversee frameworks/platforms for use by the broader technical delivery organization.

• Take responsibility for the development and evolution of the comprehensive application architecture strategy, ensuring its alignment with the Huntington Target State Enterprise Architecture and its adoption within the development community.

• Communicate and regulate the application of architectural trends and best practices within the application domain, both in the delivery organization and the Huntington Enterprise Architecture organization.

• Develop, sustain, and communicate standards concerning design leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication in accordance with HNB’s federated architect program.

• Conduct evaluations of products/solutions relevant to the architectural domain within both the delivery organization and the Huntington Enterprise Architecture organization.

• Mentor technical delivery personnel.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of relevant experience with OFSAA Application and Infrastructure.

• Experience in architecting software solutions with stringent requirements such as performance, high availability, reliability, and security.

• Knowledge of data and system integration patterns and technologies.

• Proficiency in managing large-scale initiatives.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the integration of architecture within Agile development teams.

• Capability to articulate and convey complex ideas to a diverse audience through both verbal and written communication.

• Strong conceptual, critical thinking, technical, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to meet with senior management to present and/or deliver technical documentation effectively.
