Senior Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Connected Systems and Integration Objects to utilize PeopleSoft web services (REST/SOAP).

• Architect intricate Custom Data Types (CDTs) and Record Types that accurately correspond to PeopleSoft's underlying Oracle database schemas.

• Develop comprehensive end-to-end process models that initiate actions in PeopleSoft, including employee onboarding, financial approvals, or procurement updates.

• Create Appian Web APIs to enable PeopleSoft to send real-time data updates or event notifications back to Appian.

• Construct user-friendly SAIL forms and dashboards that consolidate data from various systems for a seamless user experience.

• Implement secure interactions between systems using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.

• Advanced SQL proficiency (PL/SQL preferred) for optimizing queries against Oracle databases.

• In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML for inter-system communication.

• Must hold a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance, with the capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Certifications: Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer and Security+ CE Certification (or an equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification) are mandatory.
