MES Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborating as a member of the development team to design and create application deliverables for new MES implementations and/or modifications to existing MES applications, leveraging a thorough understanding of contemporary software implementation methodologies.

• Offering technical assistance to factories and other internal business stakeholders for designated MES applications. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues related to MES applications.

• Updating user reference materials by drafting, revising, or overseeing the documentation process for MES applications.

• Contributing to the strategic development of MES applications by considering emerging technologies.

• Enhancing process improvements. Aiding team efforts by completing projects and enhancements, as well as addressing issues stemming from support requests from factories and other business partners. Engaging in collaboration with factory staff and other internal business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Preferred).

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role (Required).

• Proven experience in highly collaborative, large-scale cross-functional projects.

• Demonstrated expertise in gathering business requirements.

• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with legacy applications.

• Extensive knowledge of modern software development principles.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.

• Understanding of factory floor operations.

• Experience in an Agile/Scrum team setting, preferably within a SAFe framework.

• Proven experience with Java, C++, C#, .NET Framework, HTML, JSP/CSS, Tomcat, IIS, JavaScript, Swing, ORM Frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, Entity Framework), DB/2, SQL Server, Angular 5, Power Apps, and Azure DevOps.

• Eagerness to expand knowledge in other areas related to technical solution development (such as testing, development, database management, deployment, documentation, and project management).
