Senior Animator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Lead Animator and the team to produce industry-leading, captivating animations that are immersive, memorable, and entertaining.

• Infuse characters with distinct personalities that reflect the artistic style and vision of the project.

• Continuously strive to elevate the quality of animations.

• Work in partnership with character and art teams throughout all phases of character development.

• Collaborate and iterate swiftly with designers and riggers from the blocking stage to the final output.

• Engage in engine work, creating, implementing, tuning, and consistently testing animation assets with meticulous attention to detail.

• Assist in establishing and refining animation pipelines and tools.

• Coordinate with all departments to meet project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding of animation principles.

• Practical experience with Cascadeur.

• Proficient in Maya.

• Background in animating humanoid characters within AA/AAA video game projects.

• Familiarity with animation systems in Unreal Engine.

• Experience with high-end keyframe animations for realistic human movements.

• Creative problem-solving skills throughout all production stages.

• Strong communication abilities, a team-oriented mindset, and a positive attitude.

• Capable of providing constructive feedback and receiving direction effectively.

• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, with a robust artistic vision, able to maintain high standards for in-game animation while making consistent progress without continuous supervision.

• Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• 7+ years of experience in the animation and cinematic industry (preferred).

• Working knowledge of modeling, skinning, and rigging for broadcast and its relation to animation (preferred).

• Familiarity with tools such as Slack, JIRA, and Confluence (preferred).
