Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java.

• Creating new functionalities and enhancing existing modules in accordance with business and technical requirements.

• Participating in the architectural design of applications utilizing MVVM, MVI, and MVP patterns.

• Developing solutions based on Kotlin Multiplatform and collaborating on building shared components across platforms.

• Implementing modern user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.

• Working with libraries and tools such as Coroutines, Hilt, and Dagger.

• Creating and maintaining unit tests while ensuring high code quality.

• Participating in code reviews and contributing to best programming practices.

• Collaborating with the project team using Scrum methodology, including participation in planning, refinements, and reviews.

• Utilizing GIT and developing and maintaining the software development process.

• Analyzing and resolving technical issues as well as optimizing the performance of mobile applications.

• Collaborating with backend teams, QA, and UX/UI designers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing mobile applications for the Android system.

• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.

• Ability to work with version control systems such as GIT, including Bitbucket.

• Familiarity with MVI, MVVM, and MVP architectures.

• Skills in writing unit tests.

• Knowledge of design patterns.

• Familiarity with libraries such as Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Hilt, and Dagger.

• Experience working in Scrum and with JIRA.

• Experience with MacBook is a plus.

• Advanced knowledge of GIT: rebase, merge, patch, cherry-pick is desirable.
