Senior Analytics Engineer – Supply Data Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of supply data and develop dependable, analysis-ready datasets.

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Supply stakeholders.

• Recognize overlapping data requirements and construct reusable mart tables.

• Streamline data transformations for downstream teams.

• Construct and oversee Python and GCP pipelines.

• Document schemas, lineage, and data agreements.

• Administer IAM roles, data-access boundaries, cost oversight, performance optimization, and data validity checks.

• Guide junior analysts and enhance SQL skills within the Supply organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in analytics engineering (or a related field).

• Proficient in SQL, including complex CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.

• Strong Python capabilities for ETL processes and orchestration.

• Practical experience with GCP, BigQuery, Git, and CI/CD.

• Ability to analyze intricate systems and devise structured improvement strategies.

• Proactive management of platform health, monitoring, governance, and reliability.

• Capacity to balance long-term system design with immediate business needs.

• Collaboration across teams to establish data agreements and align stakeholders.

• Experience with dbt or Dagster is a plus.

• Familiarity with AWS Batch, Lambda, and Step Functions is advantageous.

• Knowledge of supply chain or logistics is beneficial.

• Exposure to data cataloging and data observability platforms is a plus.
