Senior Analytics Consultant, Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive analytics workstreams, taking ownership of planning, requirements gathering, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, and adoption of Power BI solutions.

• Manage the technical strategy, backlog, and sequencing of tasks for scalable analytics solutions.

• Conduct client working sessions to align stakeholders on priorities, risks, expectations, status updates, and decision-making.

• Evaluate analytics deliverables for technical quality, usability, performance, and adherence to Power BI and modern analytics architecture best practices.

• Collaborate with account and practice leaders to discover new use cases, extension opportunities, and accelerators.

• Convert business needs into intuitive, actionable analytics products that facilitate client decision-making and drive business results.

• Work alongside client stakeholders, internal delivery teams, account leaders, and colleagues across different global locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in delivering enterprise-level data analytics and data visualization solutions.

• Proven experience in owning analytics projects or workstreams from inception to completion.

• Strong proficiency in Power BI development, including semantic/data modeling, DAX, Power Query, data visualization, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with Power BI Service administration, covering workspace strategy, security roles, access management, deployment practices, and platform configuration.

• Solid SQL skills with experience working with data warehouses, data marts, semantic models, and analytical data structures.

• Experience in data preparation and transformation using tools like Alteryx or KNIME, or similar tools such as Matillion, Dataiku, or Coalesce.

• Capability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear analytical requirements and effectively communicate recommendations and risks to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Comfortable functioning within distributed, global teams and collaborating across different time zones.
