Senior Analytics Consultant, Looker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution of analytics projects centered around Looker, converting business needs into prototypes, dashboards, and high-quality visualization solutions.

• Manage client communications for various workstreams, which includes providing status updates and facilitating working sessions.

• Set and manage expectations, collect feedback, and ensure that priorities and success criteria are aligned.

• Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of LookML models, data structures, and SQL queries.

• Advise clients on best practices for data visualization, data preparation, and analytics architecture.

• Suggest enhancements that improve usability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Participate in backlog refinement and troubleshoot issues.

• Analyze, resolve, and optimize Looker solutions and associated data pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or proven expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms within an enterprise setting.

• Strong skills in data visualization using Looker, including LookML development, dashboard creation, and advanced visualization techniques.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Experience with data warehouses, data marts, and analytical data models.

• Familiarity with data preparation tools such as Alteryx or KNIME, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of BI and analytics tools like Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Omni, or dbt.

• Demonstrated fluency with data.

• Ability to effectively communicate analytical concepts and insights to business users.
