This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.
• Conduct comprehensive trend analysis and root cause evaluations for Low Balance inventory, addressing issues such as denials, payment variances, adjustments, and returns.
• Examine claims, remittance, and payment data to detect patterns in payor behavior, identify emerging issues, and assess revenue risks.
• Assist in the preparation for payor escalations by performing thorough account reviews, summarizing findings, and documenting recommended next steps.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate documentation for payor escalations, which includes issue specifics, supporting analysis, and resolution outcomes.
• Carry out monthly revenue reconciliation to verify accuracy and completeness across various source systems.
• Perform analysis in response to trending requests and engage in cross-functional reviews to discuss findings and suggest actions.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• 4-7+ years of progressively responsible experience in hospital revenue cycle analytics, healthcare operations analytics, or similar roles in complex healthcare financial settings
• Extensive experience in analyzing claim inventory, payor behavior, denials, and payment trends, with a proven ability to translate findings into operational and financial implications
• Strong background as a system analyst or senior business partner for revenue cycle systems, reporting platforms, or analytics technologies
• Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities are essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, with a proven track record of capturing, analyzing, and presenting data clearly to diverse audiences.
