Senior Analyst, Strategic Analytics

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive COGS and gross margin analysis for Motive’s hardware and software product offerings.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to enhance profitability.

• Transform vague, high-impact business inquiries from senior stakeholders into detailed analyses.

• Collaborate closely with data engineering, finance, and product teams.

• Navigate complex and disorganized data environments to establish accurate foundational data.

• Contribute to the operational excellence of the SA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in analytics, strategic finance, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in SQL at an expert level.

• Thorough understanding of unit economics, including gross margin, contribution margin, COGS structures, cost drivers, and scenario analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to independently identify and dissect ambiguous business challenges.

• Excellent communication skills suited for executive-level engagement.

• High degree of autonomy and capability for self-management.

• Experience working within complex data environments.
