This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Analyze cohort and retention metrics for Power FP&A — collaborate with Strategic Finance to develop segment-specific retention curves, survivorship analysis, and chained NRR/GRR calculations.
• Collaborate with FP&A to create LTV/CAC and unit-economics models — transform Strategic Finance's economic concepts into actionable models that quantify customer lifetime value, CAC payback periods, and go-to-market efficiency.
• Conduct analyses supporting FP&A's pricing initiatives — generate take-rate, price realization, and segment-level elasticity and price-cap analyses that inform FP&A's willingness-to-pay models and pricing strategies.
• Serve as FP&A's modeling and data partner — interpret the frameworks provided by Strategic Finance (including price, volume, expansion, retention) and develop clean, auditable Excel models, with Finance responsible for the outputs and the narrative presented to leadership.
• Manage the data layer for all models — collect, normalize, and validate data from Salesforce and other commercial systems to ensure FP&A's analyses withstand scrutiny at the board and executive levels.
• Assist in operationalizing validated work — once analyses are confirmed in Excel, facilitate their transition to Power BI for easy refreshment and sharing without needing to rebuild from the ground up.
• Outstanding analytical skills — capable of breaking down ambiguous, open-ended questions and designing analyses that effectively answer them. This is the most critical requirement.
• Strong commercial and economic acumen — you grasp how factors like price increases, upsells, take rates, and retention contribute to ARR and overall growth.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• Competence in SQL and hands-on data manipulation.
• Proven experience in data quality assurance, normalization, and preparing messy data for analysis.
• A quick learner comfortable with ambiguity, taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to present methodologies and findings in a straightforward manner.
• Preferred: Experience in Power BI (or a similar BI tool) development, or a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire these skills.
• Experience in SaaS/subscription businesses and familiarity with ARR, NRR/GRR, churn, and cohort concepts.
• Experience with Salesforce/CRM data.
• Familiarity with pricing analytics or commercial strategy.
• Not mandatory: A formal background in finance or accounting.
