Pricing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold pricing and margin strategies for both new and existing customers and products.

• Collaborate closely with Customer Service and various internal departments.

• Work in partnership with functional business leaders.

• Responsible for managing all customer content within the ERP system.

• Accountable for entering and maintaining all customer pricing contracts in the ERP.

• Generate specialized customer reports for the sales team.

• Assist in maintaining content within the Phocas environment.

• Utilize Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Phocas) for data governance in the ERP.

• Review customer contracts and make updates in response to vendor changes in discount structures.

• Collaborate with the product management team to refine market pricing for product offerings.

• Participate in strategy reviews and implementations aimed at enhancing gross profit.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in marketing, finance, or communications.

• Experience in industrial distribution or metalworking is advantageous.

• Previous experience with Prophet21 (P21) is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with SQL is a plus.

• Proficient in PC usage and capable of utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel).

• Experience in operations or manufacturing settings is preferred.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.

• Excellent analytical, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to perform well under pressure.

• Enthusiastic, adaptable, customer-focused, and team-oriented.

• Strong sense of urgency and accountability.

• Capable of establishing and maintaining productive relationships both internally and externally.

• Experience with Multi-Currency is a plus.
