Senior Analyst, Pharmacy Benefits Management – Underwriting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Leverage business, industry, competitive, client, and technical expertise to establish pricing strategies.

• Implement financial modeling for comprehensive pricing proposals related to PBM client contracts.

• Collaborate with PBM Sales and Account Services to devise pricing and negotiation strategies.

• Examine extensive pharmacy claims data using advanced Excel modeling techniques.

• Develop financial forecasts and create profit and loss (P&L) statements.

• Present financial analyses to Executive Leadership during meetings.

• Assist Underwriting Managers and Senior Managers with ad-hoc analyses and client implementation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or corporate underwriting is required.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis.

• Fundamental understanding of PBM finance.

• Proven experience in managing intricate projects lasting between 3 to 12 months in a matrixed environment.

• Ability to engage professionally with others and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing to accomplish essential tasks.

• Advanced skills in Excel modeling.

• Strong organizational abilities, multi-tasking capabilities, and follow-up skills.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse business groups.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
